Sheltie The Shetland pony

By Peter Clover
There once a litte girl called Emma. She lived in the city and they were moving to the country. But she did not want to. Later that day they got in the car and drove to the country. When they got there it was to dark to do anything so they went to bed. In the morning Emma looked out the window and saw a pony. She went outside to it.
Then her mum came out and said, " I see you have meet Sheltie." She said, " yes I really like him, Whose is he?"
" Yours if you like. He is Mrs Linney's, who we brought this house from. She moved to the city and she can't take him. She should be here in the morning to teach you the riding track. When she came they went past Mr Crock. He's an old tart face. All he cares is cabbages and he always wins the cabbage cup. But this year is better as someone stole his cabbages. Now at the fair Fred won the cabbage cup but he the stole Mr Crock's cabbages. Now there best friends again and Mr Crock is nice.

Schools at war by Dianne Bates Bettina Guthridge

There was two schools, one school was called the Lah-Dee-dah Young Ladies Academy and the opposite school was the By-Gum Young Gentleman's college. They only let rich children in, but next door was a poor kindergarten. Between the Lah-Dee-dah Young Ladies Academy and the By-Gum Young Gentleman's college there was fighting. There were new students at both schools and they were the leaders. There names were Jessica-Sue Clatworthy and Lyle Earnmore. They started to throw things and put up signs like millionaire pupils only and all welcome!! Then the girls got the school helicopter and put lots of flour and rotten eggs on the boys. Then they start shouting at each other. I think this is a great book so you should read it. Its very funny.
